Indie Spotlight: Mal Forte’

 Florida A&M rapper Mal’ Forte combines smooth melodies over spoken word and creative wordplay on his sophomore album “Better Late Than Never”. The 14-track masterpiece is gaining momentum through the HBCU and southern rap demographic.

The album’s lead single, “Good Intentions” featuring EJ is a smooth open love-letter where like many men, Mal’ Forte professes the deeds he will do for the woman he loves. However, like all men, make foolish decisions that jeopardize the relationship. Produced by upcoming super-producer TJ da Beatman, this song is definitely one to check out.
