Erykah Badu, Rev Run and More To Be Headwear Hall of Fame Inductees

The Headwear Association announced its 9th annual inductees to include Erykah Badu, Joseph “Reverend Run” Simmons, Jennifer Anniston and more.

THA recognize stars for their style and iconic fashion choices in pop culture.

Erykah Badu, making her debut into stardom in 1997 with Baduizm, is known for making turbans and other over-the-top Headwear a staple in her style. She has influenced many with turbans and one can search for YouTube tutorials on how to look like hers!

Has anyone ever seen Rev Run without a hat? The legendary RUN DMC member has been rocking fedoras and Kangol hats since way back when and never leaves home without one.

THA President Garth Watrous receives thousands of nominees for hat style.

“This is the 9th annual Headwear Hall of Fame Induction. Every year, The Headwear Association recognizes individuals known for signature style, which of course includes wearing a wide variety of hats.” -Garth Watrous, THA President

Other inductees include Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, Jennifer Anniston, and Ava Gardner.

This group of fashion head icons will join the likes of previous hall-of-famers Pharrell Williams, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J and more. THA has a total of 54 members.

The ceremony will be held April 26, 2018 at the 110th THA Gala at the Central Park Boathouse.
